The Kantadighi Jaghmoya Umme Kulsum Girls’ Institute was established in 2009 under the leadership of the late Hazrat Maulana Zakaria Qasemi Rahmatullah Alaih. At a time when the society was grappling with chaos, ignorance of Islam, and a lack of proper education, several prominent scholars of India, inspired by the spirit of the Islamic revival, laid the foundation for similar institutions across the country. The Kantadighi Umme Kulsum Institute is a continuation of this vision, aiming to nurture Islamic values and knowledge among women.
The institution not only functions as a madrasa but also as a platform for holistic personal and social development. It emphasizes the education and empowerment of Muslim women, aiming to prepare them for a religious and spiritually fulfilling life. Over the years, many women have graduated from this institute, now serving various roles in society.
The institution continues to expand its infrastructure and reach, supported by the contributions of benefactors. Recently, construction of additional floors in the madrasa building has commenced to accommodate the growing number of students.
